We are a boutique multidisciplinary design strategy firm focused on bettering the world through art, design, public service and critical thinking.
Our goals are simple, to do the best possible work that we can, with the best possible people, have fun and make a difference.
Scale and typology are irrelevant to us as we have worked on, built teams for, and have added value to, nearly every project type, client type, delivery method and project size imaginable (from extraordinarily small and pro-bono to large international projects with highly complex programs, teams and delivery methods).
We believe deeply in the principles of strategic optimism, design excellence, intentional public service and the idea of developing a proactive practice approach to solving society’s most critical challenges.
We believe that great design is simply the ability to find creative solutions to complex problems and that the world’s greatest innovators are inherently the people that don’t know any better.
We believe that great design has the power to meaningfully impact the lives of others on a grand scale and should not just be limited to the flash of trends and exclusivity.
Most importantly, we believe that great design has the potential to bring out the best in people by opening their eyes to new possibilities.

“William's most significant ability is to solve problems in a forthright and effective manner. No difficulty seems to faze him. His optimism and ingenuity are infectious. He has the natural qualities of a great leader: He listens attentively and serves others without drawing attention to himself."
— Frank Harmon, FAIA
"William Dodge is one of those entirely authentic and all-too-rare individuals who ought to be singled out and celebrated as Heroes of Art, but almost never are. They are people who devote their energies and efforts to seeing to it that overlooked, forgotten, or underappreciated other artists' work finally gets recognized, and who do it not as a part of any scheme for personal gain, but out of sheer love and admiration for the art they call attention to.”
— Roger Manley - Director Emeritus, Gregg Museum of Art & Design
“William is a forward thinking and innovative designer. He consistently finds ways of thinking beyond the traditional boundaries of architecture to respond to a clients’ aspirations. He is dedicated to design excellence and is consistently raising the bar on design expectations. His passion for architecture and design is evident in his dedication to the project, the team, and to the client.
William literally knows everyone, and knows how to put himself and the people around him in a position to succeed. If the majority of us are connected by ‘Six Degrees of Separation’, then William is separated by three. Knowing people is one thing, but where William continues to be successful is in finding ways to connect peoples’ interests in ways that are mutually beneficial. He is a joy to work with."
